The newest addition to the GE-OLOGY x MIICON Limited-Edition series, the "Radiant Cassette Pendant With Necklace Chain", is made of Sterling Silver and Brass with a Silver chain and is constructed with love locally in New York City. As each piece is made to order, the metal selections can be customized to the extent of your budget and imagination. The piece is a beautiful ode to the classic cassettes, which were the central component from the bygone era of the earliest circulating DJ mixtapes, and also used in recording the emerging underground radio mix shows, and of course, the infamous pirate radio broadcasts as well. But cassettes were also used for duplicating, overdubbin' musical takes & multi-track recordings, and more uniquely, used to capture the endless results one could achieve through the creativity of the infamous "pause-tape" (that utilized the cassette deck's pause-button to extend and edit whatever your heart desired). Furthermore, this series addition joins the "Lux Turntable Pendant With Necklace Chain", which first launched in July of 2023 in celebration of the historic 30th Anniversary of GE-OLOGY's parallel professional arts and music careers. The GE-OLOGY x MIICON collaboration was born from a unique opportunity to join forces and create handcrafted pieces that combine the quality, care, and aesthetics shared in each of their respective crafts.
